Al Lawton Biographical Information   Born in a small town in Kentucky where every home, large or small, had a rifle and shotgun behind the kitchen door, Al Lawton grew up under the wing of his hunting uncles. Such early experience developed his love of guns and the outdoors. This foundation led him into the Boy Scouts where he received his first experiences in working with leather at the age of twelveand later on to train to become a forest ranger.   Working in both Oregon and Wyoming in the tall timbers fulfilled a love of being outdoors. After an internship in Uncle Sam's job opportunity corps.(U.S. Army) he returned to the forest. All during this time his talents at working with leather continued to develop.   Following years of moving, marriage and family, the opportunity presented itself to devote his full time to the leather business with theCheyenne Saddle Company. Today this small company manufactures everything from key rings to saddles with a strong emphasis onleather products for the outdoorsman; however businessmen and women have not been overlooked!
